Suzi joined LGI’s Innovation Strategy Business Unit in 2016. She has previously worked with UNCTAD on sustainability topics related to corporate social responsibility, and advised the OECD on its COP21 communication strategy. Prior to that she was an award-winning journalist in China, where she produced and hosted a news show for the nation’s first independent TV network.

Suzi holds a Master of International Development focusing on Development Planning and Environmental Sustainability from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Business Administration for International Organizations from the University of Geneva. She received her BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studying Journalism and Mass Communication as well as International Studies, with a Chinese minor. Go Heels!

Suzi Maurice

Head of Communications

Nicolas has been with us since 2008, and is in charge of IT activities. He has more than 10 years of experience conceiving and developing business applications. He has coordinated the implementation of several web services dedicated to the management of collaborative projects, and is knowledgeable with applicable procedures with regards to IT and quality processes. He has also setup online communication portals with the main content management systems (CMS) on the market for a number of R&D projects under the European Commission’s FP7 Programme.

Nicolas conceives user-friendly applications, comprehends the needs of our clients and translates them into simple, functional, compatible applications while taking into account most stringent IT security requirements.

Nicolas Bihel

I.T Hero

Vincent co-founded LGI Consulting in 2005, and is the current CEO of the company. He is involved as a managing consultant in several projects mostly in the energy, transport, IT and security sectors.

Several years as a child in the US marked his first international experience. He started his career in the IT sector in Paris as analyst in geographical information systems (GIS) for urban planning applications. He then moved to Argentina in 1998 as a project manager in the environment industry, in the Suez group (now Engie).

Since 2001 he is a business consultant and has been involved in dozens of consultancy assignments in several sectors. In particular he has developed and managed a number of innovation projects in Europe, essentially in the energy and security industries.

Vincent graduated in 1997 from one of the leading French chartered engineering school (AgroParisTech), complemented by continuing education courses at HEC, France’s no.1 business school.

Vincent Chauvet


Bastien joined LGI in 2008. Since then, he has taken the responsibility of the Management Consulting business line and has worked as a senior consultant on several FP7 European projects. He is also the Deputy General Manager of LGI.

Prior to LGI he worked in the process management team at France Telecom in Argentina and was project and team manager for SAGEM (now Safran) in France and China for seven years.  Bastien has a chartered engineering background in telecommunications with a degree from the Ecole nationale supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne.

Bastien Duplantier


Fabien joined LGI in 2009 as an analyst-developer for websites, software and applications in the Digital Solutions team. He supports the company’s internal development activities and develops web tools and applications for our clients.

He has been involved in the development of LGI’s collaborative software, including the workflow application for collaborative projects, the open innovation platform and the web application for event management.

Fabien graduated from the Institut Informatique et Entreprise (IIE) in Lille.

Fabien Fruleux

I.T Hero

Martin joined LGI in 2010. As a senior consultant in the energy, environment, security, transport and other high-tech sectors, he provides consultancy and management services for public and private customers, or within international research & innovation projects. He is involved in projects developing innovative business models and defining appropriate strategies for exploitation and intellectual property protection.

Martin holds degrees in economics (MSc) and law (MPhil) from the Czech Republic and in international law (master’s degree – DEA) from Spain. He started his career in municipal infrastructure projects in Valencia, Spain. In 2008 he moved to Brussels and worked on transport legislation for the European Commission and at the Czech Permanent Representation during the French and Czech Presidencies of the EU.

Martin Pecanka

Senior Project Manager

Flora has joined LGI Consulting since September 2017 as an Administrative and Financial Officer.  She carries out the administrative and financial tasks of the projects and the clusters managed by LGI.

Prior to this position, Flora was a project officer in an NGO, implementing European-funded projects in the field of adult education, through the Erasmus+ programme.

Flora holds a master degree in international relations from Sciences Po Toulouse.

Flora Errecart

Project Manager

Gilles joined us in September as a project manager. He is involved in the management of European Research Platforms on nuclear energy and several European projects on sustainable energy.

Gilles holds degrees in European Affairs (MA) and Risk Management (Msc) from Sciences Po Rennes. After several jobs related to Public Affairs and Advocacy Work in the West Bank, India and in Brussels, Gilles worked one year for IRSN (The National Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety) in the International Affairs division. In the frame of this work, he participated to the management of European nuclear projects including H2020, interest groups in safety and Radiological protection.

Gilles Queneherve

Project Manager

Gábor is the Head of Innovation Funding and Project Management. He develops and manages research projects and assists our clients to ensure seamless cooperation.

Prior to joining LGI in 2017, Gábor worked for the Budapest University of Technology and Economics as a researcher and lecturer, performing analyses in the fields of energy management, sustainable transportation and renewable energy sources. He also worked at the Institute for Transport Sciences, Road Safety Division.

He holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and a PhD in sustainable transportation.

Gábor Szendrő

Head of Innovation Funding and Project Management

Delphine combines three years of proven record in the management of international collaborative R&D projects.

She joined LGI in February 2019 as project manager. Prior to that, she worked at CEA to support the operational, strategic and financial monitoring of three EU funded projects (MAGENTA; COSMICS; 3eFERRO). Her project portfolio also includes INSPIRE, a MSCA-Cofund project, coordinated by Paris Diderot University.

She holds degrees in economics and project management from University of Strasbourg, both with a strong focus in innovation.

Delphine Meyer

Project Manager

Luc joined LGI’s Strategy and Innovation unit in 2019 as Junior Consultant. His work focuses on tackling challenges confronted by the transport sector as well as on strategies to shift toward a circular economy.

He has more than two years of experience working in local development in projects based in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Interacting with experts and partners, his analysis is based on thorough research and personal knowledge of political, economic, social and environmental realities. He gained his skills by working in international organizations, urban agencies and programs promoting local citizen initiatives.

He studied Political Science and Sociology at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Salamanca and has a Masters’ degree in Urban Management from Sciences Po.

Luc Berman

Trend Watcher

Passionate about scaling nature-based solutions to climate change, Joanne recently joined LGI’s Innovation and Strategy Business Unit as Sustainable Innovation Strategist. She leverages her 5 years of past experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and business developer in sustainability and climate change, and 7 years as project manager in the airline industry. Through her social enterprise OpenTeam, she developed a multi-stakeholder platform for the COP21 French Presidency, designed and facilitated peer learning and acceleration programs to replicate climate solutions at  a large scale, and gained accreditation to join as a speaker and civil society representative at the COPs. She also led consulting and business development missions for sustainability NGOs and SMEs, to support their strategic development and international expansion. Her favorite topics include agroecology, carbon sequestration, oceans, circular economy and knowledge management.

Prior to this, Joanne steered cross-airline synergy projects in the IT domain as project manager and product owner. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a French Telecommunication Engineering Degree from IMT (préviously INT Télécom). She is an active in climate consortiums (4 per 1000, Regeneration International) and sustainability alumni clubs (INSEAD Business & Society, YESS Alumni).

Joanne Schante

Head of Innovation Strategy

Sam joined LGI in September 2019 as a Junior Consultant in the Innovation Strategy Business Unit. He conducts strategic studies and analyses of new technologies related to circular economy and renewable energies.

Sam has experience working on urban policy and governance in both France and the United States. He previously worked with the New York City Council on constituent relations, housing policy and participatory budgeting. Sam has also worked with OpenDataSoft to design an open data library related to transportation in Bogota. Then prior to joining LGI, he was a policy analysis trainee at the OECD, where he drafted reports on global events and municipal innovation.

He holds bachelor’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris in social science and from Columbia University in urban studies. He also has a master’s degree in urban governance from Sciences Po Paris.

Sam Whittlesey

Trend Watcher

Marie is our Office Manager. She has been involved in accounting and financial administration in SMEs for more than 19 years in France and Mauritius.

She deals with the financial and HR administration, manages budgets and is in charge of LGI’s accounting.

Before joining LGI in 2019, Marie was an Office Manager at Skalar, a Dutch instrument manufacturer specialised in automated chemistry for 4 years. She has worked in various sectors such as Retail, IT, Textiles & Food. She has always worked in a multicultural and European environment.

Marie Pauleau

Office Manager

Yasmina joined LGI’s Innovation Strategy Business Unit in 2019. She has 8 years of experience working with international stakeholders across university, industry, government and community organisations to deliver innovative solutions to today’s climate challenges. As Sustainable Innovation Strategist for LGI, she works on circular economy models applied to critical raw materials, up-cycling and climate services, with a focus on sustainability assessments, exploitation and IP management plans.

Before joining LGI, Yasmina led the strategy for Monash’s Net Zero Initiative, using the campuses of  Australia’s largest university as ‘living labs’ to experiment and demonstrate market-leading energy technologies, financial mechanisms, business models, behavioural change, inform policy makers, and inspire others to take on net zero emission journeys. She has held strategic partnerships and outreach roles as well technical research roles. For five years, she led the development of next generation solar photovoltaics, in Australia.

She holds a PhD in materials applied to renewable energy technologies and Master’s degrees in sustainable chemistry and engineering.

Yasmina Dkhissi

Innovation Strategist

Clea joined LGI in 2020 as Outreach Designer. She supports the activities of the Communications & Design business line by working on several European H2020 projects. Clea has experience in digital communications, having worked for private companies and public institutions in this area.

Before joining LGI, Clea worked as Project Manager for FIVS where she was responsible for the federation’s communication strategy, as well as the social and the economic sustainability working groups. During her time at FIVS, she successfully led a website redesign project to modernise and render FIVS’s website more user-friendly.

Clea has a degree in law and journalism from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a master’s degree in civil procedural law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, and a diploma of wine law in the digital era from the University of Reims. She is currently enrolled in a master’s in digital marketing.

Clea Prieto Perosanz

Communication Officer

Clara joined LGI in 2020, she helps the team with the events organization and is also involved in supporting the administrative activities of various national and European projects and clusters.

Before LGI, she spent several years in the event industry, working as a project manager in event agencies. She has worked for clients from different sectors, at an international level.

She holds a master degree in tourism and leisure management from the EM Normandy.

Clara Demange

Project Manager

Mya joined LGI in May 2020 as a Junior Communication Officer as part of the Communication & Design team. Her role consists of developing and implementing communications plans as well as building and managing communications tools for a variety of sustainability-focused projects.

Prior to joining LGI, Mya interned with the College of Charleston Center for Sustainable Development where she streamlined and improved zero waste practices while also contributing to the campus-wide greenhouse gas inventory report. She spent last summer working as a supply chain and logistics intern with Ethiquable, a French social enterprise producing responsibly and sustainably sourced coffee, chocolate and tea, and the previous summer as a supply chain sustainability intern with Foodbuy, a food purchasing company based in the U.S. Her undergraduate research focused on how blockchain technology can be used to increase transparency and traceability within commodity and product supply chains.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management with a certificate in sustainable business solutions from the College of Charleston Honors College.

Mya Belden

Junior Communication Officer

Mathilde Legay is a Confirmed Consultant at LGI. Mathilde is passionate about working on environmental impacts. She has 5 years of experience working for the materials industry, academics, and research institutes. As a Sustainable Innovation Strategist for LGI, she works on exploitation and IP management plans, carries out strategic studies and analysis on circular economy and sustainability assessment.

Before joining LGI, Mathilde led product management for three years in the specialty materials industry and did one year of international research on biomaterials. Mathilde also assessed environmental impacts in the construction materials industry. Mathilde has lived in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Canada and the US. She holds a Engineering degree from Grenoble INP and an Advanced Master of Engineering and Environmental Management from Mines ParisTech.

Emma Buchet

Junior Communication Officer

Sébastien Balech, graduated from Ecole Centrale de Nantes has more than ten years of experience in European projects. After a first experience in the civil nuclear industry as an engineer, Sébastien has worked in different European countries (France, Bulgaria, Netherlands) and has participated in the set-up and implementation of numerous research projects, in the framework of FP7, H2020, LIFE, Eureka\Eurostars and Ecsel. Sébastien was also involved as a Work Package Leader in a recent project related to the future challenges of the supply chain.

Sébastien joined LGI in September 2020 as a Senior project manager and is involved in all phase of projects, from their ideation to their final implementation and management.

Mina joined LGI in November 2020 as a Junior Consultant. She works on projects in the energy, mobility, and circular economy sectors.

She has ten years of professional experience in proposal writing and managing EU-funded projects. Her primary competencies are fundraising, monitoring & evaluation as well as training on sustainability strategies.

Before joining LGI, Mina worked as a consultant in Serbia. For five years, she co-owned and ran the consulting agency, Granted that provides fundraising services to non-profits from Europe and Middle East.

She holds a master’s degree in political sociology from the University of Paris 1.

Carine Valette

Senior Communication Officer
Pauline joined LGI in March 2021 as a Junior Communication Consultant. She studied digital communication in the Pôle Leonard de Vinci. During her master’s degree, she had a first experience in European project communication. After two years working in the video game industry, she decided to complete her experience in EU projects by joining the Communication and Design team at LGI. She designs and implements targeted communication and dissemination strategies for different European projects ranging in focus from urban forests to circular economy.

Pauline Assadi

Junior Communication Officer

Léonard joined LGI in May 2021 as a Project Manager, in charge of coordinating the Long-Term Joint European Union – African Union Research and Innovation Partnership on Renewable Energy (LEAP-RE) and developing sustainable innovation projects.

Before joining LGI, Léonard worked for the French Agency for sustainable Mediterranean cities and territories on projects related to energy efficiency and air quality management, and for an international network which aimed at fostering investment and business ecosystems in Northern Africa and Middle East.

He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policies from Sciences-Po Grenoble and is a university lecturer at Sciences-Po Aix. Léonard is based in Marseille.

Léonard Lévêque

Project Manager

Fanny joined LGI in June 2021 as a Junior Project Manager with the Project Management Team. She is passionate about sustainable innovation and holds a Master of Science in Global and Sustainable Business from EDHEC Business School.

At LGI, she supports the administrative and financial activities of various actors of the sustainable innovations sector and she contributes to the management of many European collaborative projects and events.

Before joining LGI, she worked mainly in partnerships management and event management within NGOs on international and collaborative projects. She also worked as a consultant for a big retail company on a zero-waste store project.

Fanny David

Junior Project Manager

Zahra is a Junior Communications Officer at LGI and joined the communications team in December 2021. Prior to joining LGI, Zahra studied English Literature and Translation and then pursued a master’s degree in communications specialising in health and the environment at the Sorbonne Nouvelle.

Her role in LGI is to support and work with the rest of the communication team to complete communication and dissemination tasks, generate content for social media, websites or scripts, and produce designs and infographics for B2B and European projects.

Mathilde Videlo

Junior Project Manager

Maya joined LGI in November 2021 as a UX/UI Designer on multiple sustainable innovation projects. Her role consists of understanding project specifications and user needs, designing wireframes and task flows, and collaborating with the product team and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences.

With a passion for impact and business as a force for good, Pierre joined LGI’s Innovation Strategy Business Unit in 2022. He works cross-functionally on the themes of impact, sustainable investments and hybrid business models. Pierre Cattoire
