Course 2: How to write a winning proposal

Course 2 aims to simulate the drafting of a project proposal through the analysis of a call and the completion of a hands-on case study. Trainers monitor the trainees’ simulations and evaluate their work at the end of the exercise.

Content

  • Analysis of a call and topic identification: how to read a call for proposal
  • The evaluation criteria of the European Commission: how will the EC evaluate your proposal
  • Tools for the project preparation and budget drawing, including tips
  • Budget: the rules of the game
  • Negotiation procedures: NEF, contacts with the Project Officer, internal negotiations
  • Simulation: participants will implement a project idea into a simplified application form
  • Evaluation by the trainers
