LGI opens me up to new challenges which are perfect to make my brain active … and I needed this.

Flora recently joined the LGI team. She works as an administrative and financial officer and is responsible for all administrative and financial matters in relation to clusters and projects. We decided to ask Flora some questions and get to know her better.

Could you tell us a bit about your background and what attracted you to LGI?

I worked previously as a project officer in an NGO where I contributed to implementing EU-funded projects related to the capitalisation and valorisation of the adult skills (through the Erasmus+ programme).

LGI opens me up to new challenges which are perfect to make the brain active … and I needed this.

What are you hoping to contribute to LGI?

With due humility, I wish to bring my knowledge of the administrative and financial strictness to the field of European projects. And I expect to grow within my work at LGI, gaining more knowledge and skills. And of course I want to share my love of chocolate with the rest of the team.

How would you describe your experience with us so far?

New city, new colleagues, new acronyms, everyday I’m testing my capacity for adaptability. So far, I can confirm that everything is running smoothly. The spirit is very positive and the idea is to bring out the best in each of us, with a large capacity of action. This suits me.

I have no doubt that I will be able to explain in a few years what the adaptive kinetic Monte Carlo is!
