We are currently recruiting a Junior Consultant in collaborative project management to reinforce our team. The applicant will be involved in supporting the management activities of different national, European or international collaborative R&D projects. The variety of missions for this position requires a multidisciplinary and open-minded profile, with the ability to work in different sectors. The position will imply the following activities:

What you’ll be doing

  • Front-office
    • Follow-up of the project progress (actions, deliverables and milestones)
    • Contribution to the preparation of the projects meetings
    • Contribution to event management (i.e. conferences, workshops, exhibitions, …)
    • Providing a continuous administrative "helpdesk" for project partners
  • Back-office: project administrative & financial operations
    • Preparation, maintenance of project grant and consortium agreements
    • Preparation and follow-up of the project financial reportings to the funding agency
    • Maintenance of documentation, databases, contact information, web document repository
  • Ad hoc assignments
    • Contribution to the development of R&D proposals and tenders (i.e. consolidation of administrative and financial information…)
    • The position may also imply internal activities of LGI such as consolidation of management tools, contribution to deployment of online tools, and so on.


In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must demonstrate the following:


  • Have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the management of EU-funded collaborative R&D projects (e.g. Framework Programmes FP7; H2020), a degree in European project management will be considered an advantage

Consulting skills:

  • A first experience as a consultant is appreciated
  • Fluency in English and French is essential, any additional language is considered an advantage
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Personal skills:

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability for teamwork
  • Be flexible and able to prioritise and manage tasks independently in an international and fast-moving work environment
  • Be result-oriented on mission delivery and quality, including ability to work both at macro and micro levels
  • Combine an analytical mindset with an ability to summarise, prioritise and present results
